The article presents the results of a theoretical analysis of typical psychological barriers that arise in the process of educational interaction between teachers and future rescuers, as well as summarizes their etiology based on communicative and system-activity approaches. The essential content of psychological barriers is revealed, the positive and negative impact on the effectiveness of pedagogical communication is outlined, and ways to overcome them are characterized
