This article examines the concept of “psychological readiness” through the lens of successful performance of military tasks. The components of the phenomenon referred to by this term are identified, and corresponding measures for the development and maintenance of psychological readiness states are systematized. The materials presented can be applied in the organization of psychological support for the preparation, deployment, and recovery of unit combat capability through the improvement of methodological approaches to assessing, developing, and restoring the psychological readiness of military personnel. According to the author, the proposed systematization of assessment, development, and maintenance measures enhances their effectiveness and contributes to achieving desired operational outcomes
