The article describes the peculiarities of the ideas of higher education students about the success of their studies, obtained thanks to the application of the technique of reflective thematic analysis of in-depth interviews. A qualitative analysis of the evaluation of the study success by the subjects was carried out in accordance with internal and external criteria
