Psychological factors not only determine the readiness to carry out regular educational activities for learning a foreign language in a professional direction, but are also key to the development of language confidence when using a foreign language in a professional environment. The article provides a theoretical justification (based on the analysis of the literature on the topic and observations of the educational process) of psychological factors that affect the development of language confidence in students during the study of a foreign language in a professional direction
