The article reveals the theoretical foundations of traumatic stress that occurs in military personnel during combat missions. The main modern concepts of resilience (English: resilience, stability, elasticity, elasticity, flexibility) of a military serviceman are considered, which can be presented as a process of positive adaptation after a traumatic event that threatens human health or life
